Priyadarshini Seva Mandali has founded a The Nest - Home For The Aged at Miyapur, Hyderabad to provide a shelter to the senior citizens apart from providing them with complete medical, nutritional and psychological needs in order to create a difference in their lives. The beneficiary of this program belongs to the lowest rung of the society and those who are disowned by their families. With round the clock medical support, food and nutrition, we have tried to create a homely atmosphere for the senior citizens.
The elderly citizens are provided with basic facilities such as food, accommodation, clothes and safe drinking water apart from the safe shelter.
We give a thorough medical checkup and health monitoring to all the elderly people stay with us in our senior citizen home within a regular time interval. General treatments are treated at the home itself. During medical emergencies, the medical and the paramedical staffs look after the patients in order to heal them. For patients with diabetes and blood pressure problems are kept under constant medical supervision with prescribed diet.
Not just food and medical checkup, we believe mental health also does matter to keep our lovely senior citizens happy. We try to engage them in various recreational activities to keep them glowing with health and happiness.
Priyadarshini Seva Mandali conducts the final rotes of the senior citizens who breathe their last at the home, as per their faith and rituals, when none of their family members claims to perform the last rites.
